Abby Neumann

Hello! I’m Abby. I spent most of my young life in Castle Rock, Colorado, but as of February, 2025, I reside in Oceanside, California.

As a child, I would get lost in the creative and beautiful worlds of books, animated films, and cartoons. I spent most of my time writing, drawing, and dreaming up worlds of my own. When I became a teenager, I started to stifle my interest in art in favor of more "realistic" dreams (an experience I think many artists can relate too). But, as I tried and failed in many different career paths, I grew into an adult, and learned the meaning of the question, "who am I?". I can no longer deny this part of myself. As I grow, my love for art, animation, and visual storytelling grows with me. I have been pursuing a career in the arts since 2027.

I love to tell moving, authentic stories, through beautiful and creative visuals. I believe in human-made art, where quality and integrity come before speed, and monetary success. I'm always open to experimental or uniquely ambitious projects. I also love to have FUN and work with a team of people who don't take life too seriously.

When I’m not working, you can find me wandering outdoors, at the gym, at Church on Sundays, reading in a cafe, hanging with friends at a park, or at home with my husband, and my two cats having a movie night.

I primarily enjoy working with colored pencil, watercolor, ink, mixed media, and digital painting. I would love to connect with you and chat about your project!
